Big Dumb Baby is performing at Silver Linings, circa midnight. Kevin Hasset and Leo Sawikin are also joining for Cherry Bomb’s weekly concert series.

After, Russian Samovar is turning into a brooding, hot, gothic literary art scene in celebration of Triumph of a Lonely Night.
For those in Brooklyn who do not want to leave the borough on Thursday night, Night Tide Films is presenting a short film showcase at NightHorse. I must note I only deeply enjoy South Brooklyn.
There’s also a birthday party at Gonzo’s.
Friday, Peter Shear is celebrating his book launch, Accident Report, at 6pm on West 4th.
On the east side, Quietluke (aka Alec of Chess Club) is releasing Dogs Can’t Fly at Ella Funt. It is good.
xJermsx is also releasing a single, Downtown Crawl. Candidly, I thought this was a bar crawl. But it’s just at Shinsen. Do people enjoy bar crawls? I don’t drink and rarely crawl so am curious.
Drink.More.Water is having a popup at Bloda’s Choice on Saturday and an afterparty at Ding-a-ling. Dese is traversing Houston and djing.
Sunday Salon (4/28) returns this weekend. I might recite some Pushkin (again). It’s important to practice.
